I have a line graph based on a table which has continuous dates and some daily data against each day. Occasionally there is data missing.

That currently gives me a gap in the line on the graph. Is there a way to ignore missing data so the line remains continuous?

Hope I managed to explain that clearly....

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Hello Merlin,

i think this will help you.

1. Click the chart to highlight it.
2. Go to the Tools menu | Options | Charts.
3. Click the radio button for “Plot empty cells as Not Plotted (leave gaps)”.

Please let me know if any problem.

Thanks for that. I'm using 2007 - can't find tools/options/charts anywhere.

I'm trying to get a continuous line without gaps - is there an option for that?
