I need help to reference a cells data from a external file by matching dates.

On the master file I will enter the date that I need and It will open WBx find the date and return the values associated wit the date in WBx.

WBx has 12 sheets , one for each month ( all tabs are named with a 3 letter abbr) . Each sheet has the date of the month in column A . there is data in column B, C that need to be returned as Order and Sales as noted below .

The master file will need to look at 12 or so WB to pull data ( we are pulling sales numbers from a plant or location). There is one WB per plant


Because the date will be changed periodically to see a snapshot of each plant for the given date I can not make absolute references. The example only shows the absolute reference so you can see where I need to get to

If Master File Date is May 7 return =[A.xls]May'!$B$7
If Master File Date is May 8 return =[A.xls]May'!$B$8

And so on……
