i have used external data sources for a pivot table, however I need to trace them, the question is How?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
One way I do this is to import the data into Excel using MS Query, and then base the Pivot tables on the query. That way, the datasource is available for viewing at all times.
