Hi,

I have a spreadsheet that whenever I open it asks me if I want to update the links, which I don't. As other people access this file, I am trying to get rid of these links, however, I'm struggling.

I can't seem to find where these links are. I've tried a couple of things but they either doesn't find and highlight the links, or it doesn't delete them.

I have gone to Edit>Links and it shows up a link to another spreadsheet, but not where it is linking from/to.

BTW - I'm using Excel '97.

Any help appreciated.

 :devilish:

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Take part of the file name and do a "Find" (Edit Menu) using that on each sheet.

The other way is to change the links to the current spreadsheet and see what happens (do this when you have a lot of time as you may need to hit "Esc" a lot)
