Hello Board,

I have just taken over a workbook and on checking it, I can see there are around 90,000 cells that have links out to data in another workbook. is this the best was to have one workbook update another?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
sounds excessive to me, almost as if someone dragged the sheet out to another fresh book to start it and didn't realise, are the links functional and all updating ?
