Hi,

I would like, if possible, to set-up 2 levels of cell protection. My end users only need to input info in one column, all the rest is calculated. My planners need to enter data on the majority of the sheet BUT NOT columns E&F as these contain complex formulae.

How do I set this extra protection up with VBA ?

Cheers,
Bob

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
hi!
I guess you need a log in box.
this will idenitfy which cells are availabale for the curent user.
If the user is "guess" then unprotect only the cells that are for them else add have more unprotected cells.
This may require you some front end sheet for log in or a user
form!
