Greetings –
We’ve downloaded survey data from a web form into a CSV file that we can use in Excel. A single cell might contain the following data (including the numbers 1., 2., 3., etc up to 10.):
1. Age: 42
2. Gender: Female
3. Country: USA
4. Zip Code: 12345
Each cell has line breaks with non-printable boxes appearing between each response.
We want to do some demographic analyses and need to extract the Gender value from each record, the Country value from each record, the zip for each record, and so on.
Because all 10 responses are in one cell, and the length of responses might vary, how can we extract the data we need from each record?
Thanks so much for any help on this.
