How do I extract muiltiple email address from a distribution list?
The entire list is posted in a single row.
I thought about to text to columns first, delimited with ; and paste Transpose, to be in column
After the list is in column i use the formula =MID(A6,FIND("<",A6)+1,FIND(">",A6)-FIND("<",A6)-1) to extract the emails

There is another way to extract all the email with just 1 formula, instead use all these steps?

Hi & welcome to MrExcel.

Can you post the actual data, rather than an image.
MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

In that case can you simply copy paste the data?

For example:

Excel Formula:
=SUBSTITUTE(FILTERXML("<x><y>"&SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(A2,"<","#"),">","#")," ",";"),";","</y><y>")&"</y></x>","//y[contains(.,'#')]"),"#","")

And this is the formula: =MID(A9,FIND("<",A9)+1,FIND(">",A9)-FIND("<",A9)-1)
