I have a number of applications where string formulas whithin the S/Sheet generate the data to be loaded into other system.
What i need to know is ....
Is there a way of automatically generating a
.txt file from a section of the original s/sheet.

Currently i have to select the formulas and copy into previously open notepad

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
There's no automatic way (other than writing some VBA code) but you can copy the data to a new workbook and save that workbook as a text file. That will save you having to open Notepad.
