Extract Text/Nos if conditional value met

Hi All

May I ask the board how do I extact text/nos if the cell has met a conditional format. For example if I had in cell A1 the word horse highlighted in bright green as it had met a previous conditional format then how would I extract that word and place it in cell A2. Thanks in advance.

schematically:

=if(conditional_format_condition,"Horse","Something else")

...if that's not enough, give us a few more details
