Can anyone help?

I have a vast amount of data, from which I wish to extract only a certain type of data onto another sheet.

Example:
No. Product Code
1 toys 123
2 toys 345
3 candy 854
4 toys 585
5 clothes 586
6 candy 236
7 clothes 587...

From the list above I would like to extract just "toys" and all the information on its row onto another sheet.. also when I change/add something on the main sheet, it automatically adjusts it on the "toys" sheet.

How do I do this?

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Hi,

Select the entire range.

Do Data > Filter > Autofilter

Select the required parameter from the drop down list at the top of the columns

Select the filtered data

Edit > Copy

Select destination on new sheet

Edite > Paste Special > Paste link

Hope that helps

Dave

Dave that is a big help! Thank you!

Only thing is if I added to the list, how would I get it to update on the linked sheet? That's the thing I am having problem with. would I need some sort of macro for this?
