Good afternoon,

I’m in the military and use excel a lot. I have automated a lot of my data entry sheets. I also schedule my 139 personnel for work using excel. It’s cumbersome to hide cells and select specific data I need to print. For example a weekly shift schedule and monthly shift schedule. I want to be able to click a button and that information just pops up and I can print it. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Assuming you are currently able to print the reports the way you like them manually, use the Excel Macro Recorder to record your actions when you print a weekly shift schedule. Then do the same for a monthly shift schedule. Then post that code here. That code will provide a starting point for people here to understand what you are trying to do.
