I have been trying to conjure up a way to extract certain lines of information from day to day logs of employee time sheets. Let me show you what I have:

What I would like to do, is enter the job # in I2, so that it populates H5:J5 and downwards with any results it finds with the job # in question. I do not want them so sum up, I regret not placing this in the example now, but lets say Andre had worked the same job on Day 2 within Task #1, it would create another line for it rather then add itself onto the Day 1 Task #1 time. I would like for it to search through all applicable days if possible; however, at this point even a single day would help me out thoroughly.

If more information is required I will reply swiftly. If not thanks for the help in advance!

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Welcome to the board!

Give this a try, making sure to format your green results cells as custom->

h:mm;"";""

...and note that after typing in the formula (or pasting in the formula), you need to press control+shift+enter, not just enter. Copy the formula down and across.
