I have an Excel with one sheet but it will soon be two with this addition hopefully.

The sheet has row A filled with cell number and B filled with folder path. What I need is for last & first name, date of birth and the social security number to be extracted from each individual entry and compared to each other. The ones that are duplicates in some form or fashion whether it be by dob or name should be placed into sheet 2. The kicker is that not all entries have a date of birth and social or they could have an addition on the end like Not In *.

The data follows this syntax:
\\ABC-1\Scanned Information\B\Buschnir, Agirl 03-14-1978 428-29-2584 Not In Here

For all of those that are interested in safety that information is made up.

Thanks in advance,

Bushd.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
I also forgot that the last name could be multiples seperated by hyphens and I'd like it if each could be checked. For instance Smith-Klein, Abigail.
