Good day everyone

I am trying to exctract data (profit) from my pivot tables for a daily amount, month to date amount and finally for the year to date amount.

This is for various portfolios which then builds up into relationships (I need this info per portfolio and relationship ie daily profit, MTD profit and YTD profit)

Could anyone assist? I have tried various methods, but all seem very cumbersome and the workbook gets enourmous.

P.s. I use a pivot tables (for the different kinds of revenue) linked directly to an Access database and just refresh these.

Quoting Stephen Covey - "start with the end in mind. I want to get to a point where I can just enter the date in a cell for which I want the daily profit figure and get the monthly and yearly figures as well (obviously after refreshing the pivots)

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Couldn't you just do everything in Access using queries/reports?

I can... And I can't... Don't know too much about Access. Can create a basic query, but that's about it... I have my access for dummies here :) but not sure where to start though
