Hi there,
is it possible to solve this problem:
I have coloumn "A" with cells containing names and empty cells, in random order. Is it possible to extract all names (non-empty cells) from coloumn "A" and create coloumn "B" which will contain only cells with names from coloumn "A" (i.e. coloumn "B" will be without empty cells)?

Thanx much,

Zeljko

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Do an autofilter of "non-blanks" then just copy the cells and paste them to a new location.

I wanted to excel automaticly do that for me. Can excel "scan" all cells in coloumn "A" and create coloumn "B" by itself?

thanx

You could record a macro while you do that, that way, you would only do the manual actions once, then, Excel would do them automatically for you (It's not A LONG work, just in case...)
