I have two workbooks that need to have correlating information. With the formula below I've been able to get the data to pull correctly, HOWEVER it is not putting the data in the cell that I'd like it to go in. I'm open to suggestions on a different formula. Basically I need excel to look at the data, find the specific date and then fill in the specific cells accordingly. Here is the current formula and a screenshot of the result: =IF('[OY3 Selectee Schedules - Completion Log.xlsx]Sheet1'!$B$2:$B$59=DATE(2021,2,17),'[OY3 Selectee Schedules - Completion Log.xlsx]Sheet1'!C2:$C$59,"")

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK

Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
If you are trying to get rid of the blank cells, try
Excel Formula:
=FILTER('[OY3 Selectee Schedules - Completion Log.xlsx]Sheet1'!C2:$C$59,'[OY3 Selectee Schedules - Completion Log.xlsx]Sheet1'!$B$2:$B$59=DATE(2021,2,17),"")

I would like the data to be at the top of the page, not in line with where it is on the original workbook (which is what it's doing now). So for instance, if the date equals 2/17/20 and the data is on row 9 on the first workbook, I'd like the data put into row 2 on the second workbook.

When I try that it tells me that I've entered too few arguments for that function

It works for me, did you type it out, or copy/paste?
