Hi,

I have some data in the following format:

Aston Villa v Liverpool - 19:15

I am trying to write a formula to extract the text after the "v " and before the " -". So in this example the result should be "Liverpool".

This is what I have so far:

=MID(LEFT(B8,FIND(" -",B8)-1),FIND("v ",B8)+1,LEN(B8))

For some reason it seems to be including spaces as formulas that reference this formula do not work.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Cheers
