Is it possible to extract a column (or row) into a text document w/ each cell separated by commas (or another type of punctuation, or a space that can be Ctrl-R'ed into punctuation)?

Hi,

Have you tried using Save As and changing the Save as type to either CSV (Comma delimited)(*.csv) or CSV(MS-DOS)(*.csv)?

I tried that, but it still results in an XLS that doesn't change the cell format. Maybe I should try explaining a bit more. I have a long list of email addresses (they are in a column) and want to send the list an email, so having the column be converted to a document (maybe there is a way to put it into a single cell) with each email address separated by a comma.

Hi, cpu111
Welcome to the Board !!!!

this works for me
Code:
Sub test()
arr = Selection
MsgBox Join(Application.Transpose(arr), ",")
End Sub

kind regards,
Erik

EDIT: selection must be in one column
if in one row use
Code:
Join(Application.Transpose(Application.Transpose(arr)), ",")
