Is there a way in VBA that we can extract the windows username in a variable. I want to extract the windows username and not the excel username in that variable.

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Try

Code:
Sub nme()
Dim user As String
user = Environ("username")
MsgBox user
End Sub
