Hi there,

If cell F23 displays < 70%, I want it to display "Fail" in G23
If cell F23 displays = or > than 70%, I want it to display "Pass" in G23
If cell F23 displays blank, I want it to display "Not Evaluated"

I'm using Excel 2007. How would I go about accomplishing this?

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.

Try this...

=IF(F23="","Not Evaluated",IF(COUNT(F23),IF(F23<70%,"Fail","Pass"),""))

Great, they all seem to work, but I now have another question:

Is there a way to make a #DIV/0! in F23 "not evaluted" in G23 as well?

I ask b/c I have the percentage equation is in F23, when there are no numbers to the left of it, a error code is displayed in F23, which is fine, but when expressing the pass or fail I rather a "not evaluated" than that.

Try

=IF(ISERROR(F23),"Not evaluated",IF(F23="","Not Evaluated",IF(F23<0.7,"Fail","Pass")))
