I have data in CSV format which contains dates (pasted below).

The dates of only some cells is recognized by Excel as date correctly (when I change Number type to Date).

How do I get the list of dates without having to manually type each out? Thanks.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
All the Dates in your sample were recognized as Dates when I copied over to Excel. Are there some rogue dates that you want us to handle that may not be in the sample above

It is good to leave the post, at least for reference sake. Sometime in 2050  , someone may just stumble on this and solve his problem with the "Regional Settings" tweak
