Hi everybody,

I'm working for an airline back office and I try to set up an overview for upcoming dates of our flights.
I have a sheet where a lots of data is listed (Date, FltNo, airports of departure and destination etc etc).

What I am trying to do is the following:
I need a formular that gives me the next upcoming date of flight linked to a certain destination.
If in the column F (Destinations) there is an entry e.g. AMS (Amsterdam) and the date is today or later (column C), if true, give me the MIN (nearest date) as of today.

Unfortunately I can't see where I am hitting a wall right now...

I built this so far: =MIN(IF(('Input_Flight-Plan'!$F$2:$F$16015='Schedule-Analyse'!$A16)*('Input_Flight-Plan'!$C$2:$C$16015>=TODAY());'Input_Flight-Plan'!$C$2:$C$16015;"")), but I get only today's date as a result.

Thanks in advance, sitting for hours already and can't figure it out.

All the best,
T

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
How about using >Today rather than >=Today

Thanks for your fast reply. Now the output is 7th March for all the entries, which is also incorrect.

Did you confirm the formula with Ctrl Shift Enter & then drag the formula down?

Can you supply some sample data.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
