HI!

We are currently working on a class project that we are needing some assistance with.

In our accounting class, we are working with FIFO-LIFO-W/AVG inventories and have been given the assignment to develop an Excel worksheet that contains the data information for purchased items and the cost associated with them.

We then have to create a table that shows the cost of merchandise using each of the 3 types of inventories. This is to be in tabular form.

The data from where the information is to be gathered from needs to remain in date order from the beginning of the month to the end of the month.

We have been able to get the weighted average since we used the =sumproduct and =sumif and then dividing by the end inventory.

What we are lost on and would greatly appreciate assistance with is how to gather the data without having to filter by "Model" and then by "Date", since this will not be acceptable for us to turn in.

We have the sheet available for viewing.

We appreciate your help!
