Figure out weekday of a year before 1900

As we know, we can use WEEKDAY() to get weekday of a date from 1/1/1900.
For ex: WEEKDAY(TODAY(),1) = 5 (Thusday)
But we can not use WEEKDAY for a year like this: 07/04/1776 (04,July, 1776)
Is there any fomular can do that?
