Figures to categories without nested ifs

Hi all,

Is there a simple formulaic way of putting figures into defined categories?

My example is I have a list of percentages and i want to put them into the categories: 'under 75%', '75% - 80%', '80% - 85%'...........'115% - 120%' and finally 'above 120%' - there are too many categories for an IF statement and I could do a lookup table with returns the category but that's time consuming and messy.

Any ideas?

Tabulate your relationships and use vlookup.

Neither time consuming nor messy.
