figuring percent of income from monthly balance

i am working on a new budget spreadsheet in Excel, and i have come to an issue i can't figure out. How can i create a cell that automatically figures out the percentage a monthly expense is to the net income. For example, i want a cell that automatically calculates what % of "xyz" (net income) is "abc" (monthly expense). i need help fast!!!
