I made the big mistake of saving my budget on a floppy. Now when I try to open it I get an error message " file.xls cannot be accessed. The file may be read-only, or you may be trying to access a read-only location. Or, the server the document is stored on may not be responding". I am able to open the rest of the files on the floppy. Please help!

Can you actually copy the file from the floppy? If its corrupt you can try and use formulas to access the data (you will lose formatting).
eg the following will get the value of cell A1 in sheet1 in the workbook located on the A drive called Book1...
='A:\[Book1.xls]Sheet1'!$A$1
eg the following will get the value of cell A1 in sheet1 in the workbook located on the A drive called Book1...
='A:\[Book1.xls]Sheet1'!$A$1
