Is it possible to integrate a file into another one that is similar.

Example:
File A is the original copy
File B is created to allow another person to make changes within a different medium. (mobile app that is not technically excel but does read exe files)
File C has a hyperlink to make access to File A easier

The problem comes with maintaining the hyperlink within File C; when File B becomes the most accurate version of File A.

As of now we have to constantly change the hyperlink within File C every time there is an update from File B to replace File A

If there is a way I can remain with the same address to File A when File B replaces it; I would not have to worry about the hyperlink updates in File C
