File Menu Missing ?!

hi there my file menu is missing how do i get it back ??? i have the edit, view all the others except file ??

Is this happening with all workbooks/instances of excel, or just one particular workbook? Does it affect you if you close all open Excels down and then open it back up? Do you have anything other than your personal macro workbook in your XLStart folder? Potentially there may be some macro code turning off the File menu.

Its happening on all workbooks its just not there? nothing is loading in the XLstarup

Try to reset the menubar

View>Toolbars...Customize from the menubar

Select the Toolbars tab and select the Worksheet menu bar
Click on reset on the right
