i install excel 2010 and open a file which is created in excel 2007 and it takes a lot of time to open (about 4 mins) and then when i open the same file in excel 2007 it also takes the same amount of time and file is about 2 mb.

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
