Hi, is it possible to insert a file path of another Excel document without having to type it in? I not looking for a hyperlink.
Cheers

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
This will allow you to select a file and put its path in the active cell:

Code:
Sub Test()
    Dim FPath As Variant
    FPath = Application.GetOpenFilename("Excel Files (*.xls), *.xls", 1, "Select a File", , False)
    If FPath = False Then Exit Sub
    ActiveCell.Value = FPath
End Sub
