Hi all,

I am using Office 10, and have a workbook that appears to have a hidden sheetname, but I cannot find it.

If I look at the object browser, sure enough it claims there is a sheet object in my file with that name - but I cannot view (or find) it. The document inspector indeed says there are hidden sheets, so I asked it to remove all - to which it replies .... sorry, can't help on this occasion .. or words to that effect.

Essentially, it has worked up to now - I import a sheet from another file, and simply rename it using the usual code found on here. I wonder if a crash of a macro at some point has corrupted something ?

Any ideas on how I can get to the bottom of it ?

Thanks
Rob

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Open the workbook and then use Alt + F11 this will take you into the VBA screen in the project window at the top it should show you your sheet names, if the sheet exists, click its name and look at the properties below you may well find it is very hidden rather than just hidden. You can adjust the setting to show it or change to hidden. But there is usually a good reason why it is set to very hidden.

If you cannot see the Project Window or Properties look under the View Menu.

Solution
Thanks Trevor,

that seems to have solved the mystery.

Kind Regards
