Can anyone tell me how to get Excel to print the full filepath inside a print footer - something made easy in Word?

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
Click View|Header and Footer then if you click footer drop down box full path of your file name will be there in that. Choose that one as your footer.

Edit the following for your preferences.
This code goes in "ThisWorkbook" not in a regular module.

Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)
' This sub includes all parts of FileNameInFooter
' but it puts the same information on all Sheets in the Workbook.
'
Dim sht As Worksheet
Dim sDate As String
For Each sht In ThisWorkbook.Sheets
sDate = Format((Now), "ddd d mmm yyyy hh:mm ")
sht.PageSetup.LeftFooter = "&8" & "" & ActiveWorkbook.FullName _
& "|" & "&A" & " " & sDate & " " & "Your Name"
Next sht
End Sub

The above also includes formatted Date & time and you can replace "Your Name" with your actual name. This certainly would not be useful if more than one person creates the information with this ss.

Hope some part of the above is useful.
