Is there anyway to expand the somewhat limited range of fill (and font) colors in Excel?
e.g.- importing them somehow, html, etc...

Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken

You can do it via VBA, for example:

Code:
ActiveCell.Interior.Color = RGB(FF,0,0)

Where the RGB value is a full 24-bit colour range.

Hope this helps!

Hi Richard,

I'm not too knowledgeable about VBA.

Let's say I wanted to fill a range of cells-
e.g.- A1 to Z39.
Exactly what steps would I take to accomplish this?
Also, "RGB(FF,0,0)" seems to be a mix between hexa-decimal and RGB (or Truecolor).
Or am I wrong on this?

Thanks,
Ken

Sorry, you're absolutely right - I wasn't paying attention to what I was typing.

Code:
Range("A1:Z39").Interior.Color = RGB(255,0,0)

Hope this helps - I don't usually intentionally confuse & obfuscate ;)
