I remember seeing a post somewhere regarding this. You type somehting in the name box like A2:A1000 it'll also do copy down until Row 1000. Anyone has any clue?

Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

You should clarify
- what is being copied or filled...what's in cell A1 or what's in cellA2
- whether it is copy or fill you are talking about
- if fill, what kind of fill
- is there anything in column B such as if you are filling, and column B extends to row 1000 (B1000) and you select cell A1:A2 and double-click the fill handle, not needing the name box.
