I am using Excel 2016 and I have a sheet where I need a horizontal series of only the weekdays of the year.

When I fill and select "Fill weekdays", it skips Saturdays, but not Sundays for some reason.

Does anyone know why this is the case and if there is a way to configure what the weekend days are.

I don't seem to find anything helpful in the Help pages or online. In all examples that people give for the Fill Weekdays feature, it skips 2 days, as it is supposed to.

Can anyone help me?

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

Welcome to the Board!

I am not quite clear on how you are doing this. Can you provide a sample of your data, and explain the exact steps you are doing to fill it?

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
