Fill Weeks Excel 2003

Hi there
it's a minor issue, but does any one know why there is no option to fill down "weeks" in Excel 2003. There's days, weekdays,months,years but no weeks. Or is there a way of adding weeks to the drop down menu

No, but if you enter the first 2 weeks and select those cells, you can just drag the fill handle down (or across).

Would the standard 'days' option with a step of 7 do what you want?

Yes, but the drop down menu in Excel 2003 is just a faster method and you can't select the number of days from the drop down when you choose days for the fill

Perhaps you could attach this macro to a new toolbar button.

I'm assuming you highlight the desired cells below the start date before running the macro?

Yes, highlight the start date cell as well as the cells below where you want the fill to go (just like you would with the built-in Fill Down), and then click the button.
