I have a column in a spread sheet which has blanks cells in it. I wish to run a macro that fills in these blank cells with the data that is in the nearest cell above it, which is not blank.

Have I made sense? Any help much appreciated.

Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Select the column of data, press F5, click Special, tick Blanks, click OK.

Press =

Press Up arrow

Press CTRL + Enter

Select the column, Edit > Copy, Edit > Paste Special, tick Values, click OK.
