I have a pivot table on a worksheet with various row labels and also a report filter (or page filter).

I need to control the page filter from another worksheet, i.e., be able to select different report pages while on a worksheet other than the one holding the PT.

Any sggestions?

Thanks,

Caula from London

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Do you have the option of adding "flag" fields to your data set? If so, you could set the flags to become "1" when set, and be zero otherwise. Then, if you use calculated fields in your pivot table, where the values are multiplied by the flag (and thus causing the zero-flagged ones to drop out).

Let's say your pivot table currently has a field named COST. With this flagged concept, you would instead display the calculated field CALCCOST, which would be defined as =flag*COST.

I am trying to do the very same thing... user-friendly front end with a pivot table pulling the data in the back end...
