Filter and sort

Hi I'm wondering if it is possible for someone to do me something up as I'm no coder. What I'm essentially wanting to do is be able to search through a list of words within excel and filter out anything that is not in the standard English dictionary and also remove numbers; these words will have either .list or .code after them as well. I then want to be able to sort that list by least amount of letters within the word.

So for example I have a column full of the following:

adsa22.list
al5odf.code
memory.list
memory3.list
blpp.code
red.list

so from that list I would only be left with the following:

red.list
memory.code

Not sure if that can be done but if it would be much appreciated, also I am willing to pay some money if need be

Oh and I use excel 2007 if you need to know that
