Hi All

I am looking to filter a range of data with over a 1000 records twice. One filter to filter a user ((cat) easy enough) and then only show the last 5 records based on the Won field. This data will be copied onto a new sheet to be printed with other records.

My issue is that I can't seem to find a way of using a formula in the filter options. I have used the small feature to find my 5th smallest day but can't then get this into the filter option. Is there a way of doing this? I have tried macros to try and capture the data but that only works the once before find blank data.

Any pointer would be much appricaiated as my searches for help have been fruitless.

Big thanks in advance.

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Hi Dana
I see two ways to do this, I am sure threre are hundreds of ways to solve the problem
1) The no so professional one
a. Sort by horse name ascending (cat, dog, frog) and date Won descending
b. Filter by horse name, cat
c. With a macro go to row 2 and count 5 rows down
d. Hide every thing at and below that, all with a macro

2) The professional one
a. Do a query on your data using for instance Microsoft Query using sub queries and top 5

Cheers
Sergio
