Hi all,

Using Excel 365.

I created a small range of data with Regions : North, South, East, West, North
I click on the 2nd instance of North
I click on Filter By Selection on my QAT and the small range of data was filtered to display the 2 instanced of North

I added a 2nd sheet and added the same data
This time I converted the Range to a Table
Again, I clicked on the 2nd instance of North
I then clicked on Filter By Selection
However, the data is not filtered. All items are still visible. The Filter Arrows are now visible.

I tried the QAT icon again, but it appears to just be turning AutoFilter off/on.
Is there anyway to get the QAT icon to behave in the same manner for Range or Table?

Thanks,
-w

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Not that I'm aware of. The "filter on selection" only works with a range.
