Hello,

I want to be able to use the autofilter in Excel 2003 to filter cells by the color of the cells.

I know this can be performed in Excel 2007, but I want to do it in Excel 2003.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
This will hide all rows where column A is not RED and the second Sub un-hides them.

Sub myRedRowsOnly()
Dim cell As Object, objMyRng As Object

Set objMyRng = Range(Cells(2, 1), Cells(100, 1))

For Each cell In objMyRng
If cell.Interior.ColorIndex <> 3 Then cell.EntireRow.Hidden = True
Next cell
End Sub

Sub myShowAllRows()

Columns("A:A").EntireRow.Hidden = False
End Sub
