Hi,
I would like to filter one spreadsheet (inventory) with Item numbers from another spreadsheet (orders). My ideal situation would be to highlight the item numbers on the "Orders" spreadsheet, and then run a macro/vba script that will filter the list of items in the "Inventory" spreadsheet. This will show me what items are available, in the inventory list, for those items in the orders. I tried to use advanced filtering but can't seem to get it working that way. I'm not sure if it's possible to do this between two different excel files or if both sheets need to be in the same workbook. Any help is appreciated!
