Hello
I have a spreadsheet that uses 700 rows. The last 20 rows contain formulas and values that I always want to keep visible. I would like to know if there is a way to limit the range that the Autofilter will act on. I want to filter the rows 3 to 680 and not filter the rows 681 to 700. Thanks in advance for any help.

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Maybe the advanced filter is an option for you ? It allows you to define a limited range.

Alternatively, try inserting some blank rows between 680 and 681. When I tested this (using Excel 2003), Excel's behaviour seemed a little unpredictable, but you may be able to get this to work.
