Hi - I wonder if anyone can help.

I Have a table with information about different departements in my company. I would like to be able to filter a certain column in this table (C) based upon what is selected in a dropdown list in cell A1.

For example if someone selects "HR" in the dropdown list I would like to filter column C to "Support"

The drop down list on the autofilter feature is not appropriate.

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
if the drop down list is selected it will be entered in A1 whynot try

if range("a1")="HR" then
activesheet.usesdrange.selec
sselecstion.autofilter .......

I have not tested this.
