Filter the excel files with a specific condition

Hi, I have couple hundred .xls files in a folder and in each excel file, at column AW5 has value 1, 3, 4, 5.

What I need to do is the following:

1. Go to each .xls file
2. Go to column AW5
3. At the active current blank sheet, make a list of files at Column A that has value 1 at the 5th row and value 3 at the last row of the column
4. Make a list of files at Column B that has value 1 at the 5th row and value 4 at the last row of the column
5. Make a list of files at Column C that has value 1 at the 5th row and value 5 at the last row of the column

Can anyone help to suggest how to use macro to do the steps above? Thx ahead.

Is there only 1 worksheet in each of the many files? If not, does more than 1 worksheet contain data?
I believe you want all your results in a single worksheet in the worksheet that contains the code, is that correct?
