Hi All

Good Morning

I have a column of numbers that work the number of points(B) for each provider (A) from a main table.

I have sorted this in Descending order Largest to Smallest.

The problem I have when I sort the data use the custom filter and get the result I want below:

(correct Result I want all the time)

Column AColumn B
Provider
Points
A
30
C
15
D
2

The problem I have when I update the points in the main table and the point get add to result table (Column B) the filter does not automatically move the highest points provider back to the top.

(Current incorrect result I get when the point increase)

Column AColumn B
Provider
Points
A
30
C
45
D
2

In the case above Provider C should now move to the top because the points have increase but this does not happen unless I apply a filter sort each time.

Is there a way of getting the filter sort to automatically work when the point formula automatically increases?

Thank you

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
I suggest that you update your Account details (click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version.
