Hello Excel Gurus!

I have a list of 100 names, some repeat. I need a formula that will allow me to extract each name only once.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Hi,

Try this:

Data > Filter > Advanced Filter
Select: "Copy to another location"
Check: "Unique records only"
Assign your list range to "List range" (for example A1:A20)
Assign range to be extracted to "Copy To: " (for example D1:D1)
